· Architect and Environmental Planner Yolanda David Reyes specializes in architectural design and facility planning.
· She finished her BS degree in Architecture in 1975 and her MS degree in Architecture in 1986 at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) College of Architecture and Fine Arts and UST Graduate School respectively. She earned her full PhD academic units at the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines.
· She was Dean of the UST College of Architecture and Fine Arts for nine years (1991-2000).
· She was National President of the United Architects of the Philippines for two terms.
· She was Chairperson of the Architects Regional Council for Asia Committee on Architectural Education (Asia).
· She is Member of the Philippines Commission on Higher Education - Technical Panel for Engineering, Technology and Architecture Education.
· She is Member of the UNESCO - UIA Architecture Education Validation Committee.
· She is Honorary Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). She was given the AIA Presidential medal last May 21, 2005 in Las Vegas, USA.
· She was Chairman of the Architects Regional Council Asia (Arcasia) for 2005 and 2006.
· Her awards and commendations include:
- Award for Architecture in Design Excellence for the Caleruega Dominican Retreat House project located at Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines by the United Architects of the Philippines in 1996
- Outstanding Kapampangan for Architecture, Province of Pampanga in 1993
- The Outstanding Thomasian Alumni Award (Architecture) given by the University of Santo Tomas in 2002
- Arkitektura-Patnubay Award given by the Office of the Mayor, City of Manila - Parangal Patnubay ng Sining at Kalinangan in 2000
- Included in the "Who's Who List Dictionary of International Biography" (27th Edition) International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England (Proposed by Arts Alive Society Fairfield, New South Wales, Australia) in 1999
- Cultural Award by Australian Department of Foreign Affairs for her to travel to Perth, Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney, Australia
- Dangal Award for Outstanding Achievement by the Faculty Union of UST in 1997 - Woman of Distinction by the Soroptimist, Pampanga Chapter in 1999
- First Diamond Award for Architecture by the UST Graduate School in 1998
- Achiever Award during the UST High School 75th Year Founding Anniversary in 2003
- Most Outstanding Fernandino (Architecture) 2006 by the City of San Fernando, Pampanga
