FLOORTECH asia2007 in review

With the rapid economic development in China and other Asian countries, the constructions of commercial and residential buildings have brought enormous demands for wood flooring as well as the flooring technology. FLOORTECH asia, a specialized flooring technology section has been set up to meet this market trend. 118 famous equipment and technology suppliers from 14 countries showcased their latest products and services including flooring machinery, cutting tools, decoration paper, coating and wood supply, covering the whole chain of wood flooring production.

According to the visitor statistics of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2007, over 15% visitors state that flooring technology is their main purpose of visiting the show. As the largest wood and laminate flooring show in the world, DACF 2007 host 324 wood and laminate flooring exhibitors and these companies also have a huge demand for flooring machinery and technologies. In addition, of all DACF 2007 visitors 18% are floor covering manufacturers, which guarantees the high quality visitors to FLOORTECH asia.

The exhibition space of FLOORTECH 2007 increased by 37% compared with last year. With more domestic and international exhibitors' participation, FLOORTECH provided a complete solution for the flooring industry. The exhibitor and visitor questionnaires indicate that 90% of all exhibitors state they will be back again next year and 88% of all visitors said they would visit the 2008 edition.

2008 prospects

FLOORTECH asia will be further expanded in 2008. The organizers are confident that more and more reputable companies will participate next year. More targeted and effective promotional campaign will be carried out by cooperating with more trade media so as to attract more domestic and overseas trade visitors and buyers. FLOORTECH 2008 will provide the best platform for flooring technology suppliers and flooring manufacturers to meet.
